Designer Spotlight: Meeting Megan-Mae in Penticton

Get to know Megan-Mae, the newest talent to join our Penticton Showroom. With a decade of experience and a passion for “The Spark” in design, Megan-Mae shares why she’s retiring the all-white kitchen, her love for arched architecture, and her expert advice for navigating your next renovation.

Megan-Mae senior designer Penticton

We are thrilled to officially introduce Megan-Mae. Based in our Penticton Showroom, Megan-Mae brings a unique and inspiring background to the team. While she is a self-taught talent, her ten years of hands-on experience in the industry have honed her into a designer who is as technically skilled as she is creatively passionate.

Her journey into millwork was driven by a genuine love for how a space is constructed. Today, she uses that decade of expertise to help homeowners across the South Okanagan turn “what if” into “welcome home.”

What sets Megan-Mae apart is her ability to find the “Spark.” During every consultation, she looks for that one specific element, a color, a texture, or a hardware finish, that her clients truly lights up about. Once that spark is identified, she ensures every other selection falls perfectly into place around it.

Megan-Mae’s Design Perspective:

  • 3D Visualization: She specializes in helping clients “walk through” their homes before ground is even broken. By using 3D rendering, she takes the guesswork out of new builds and renovations.
  • The “Arch” Trend: If you’re looking for soft lines, you’ve found the right designer. Megan-Mae is currently loving the return of arches in doorways, mirrors, and cabinetry details.
  • Moving Beyond White: While the all-white kitchen has had a long run, Megan-Mae is ready to retire it in favour of something warmer. She predicts and looks forward to the major comeback of beautiful, natural wood cabinetry.

Megan-Mae’s best advice for anyone starting a renovation? “Start with one thing you absolutely love and reveal your budget early.”

By being transparent about your goals and your investment, Megan-Mae works to get you as close to your dream space as possible without breaking the bank.

Whether you are breathing new life into an older home or starting a fresh build, Megan-Mae is ready to help you find your “spark.”
