Celeste brings a rare, ground-up understanding of cabinetry to every kitchen she designs. Based out of Westwood’s Vernon showroom, she serves clients throughout the North Okanagan with a hands-on, highly knowledgeable approach rooted in years of industry experience.
Her career in cabinetry began on the manufacturing floor, where she trained with a European custom cabinet maker and progressed through nearly every stage of production, from sanding and millwork to door construction and finishing. This deep, practical knowledge of how cabinets are built continues to impact her design work today. Under the mentorship of Westwood’s founder, Nick Grasa, along with other forward-thinking industry professionals, Celeste transitioned into design with a strong technical foundation and a clear understanding of what it takes to execute a project successfully.
Celeste’s design philosophy is centered on listening. She takes the time to understand her clients’ personal style, daily routines, and long-term goals in order to create spaces that balance aesthetics, functionality, and warmth. Whether working in traditional or contemporary styles, she is committed to making the design process enjoyable and approachable, reducing stress while guiding clients confidently from concept to completion.
Attention to detail is one of Celeste’s greatest strengths. Her trained eye and thorough on-site measurements help identify potential challenges early, resulting in cleaner installations and minimal margins for error. She believes that great design is not only about how a space looks, but how it works, an approach that ensures her kitchens perform beautifully for years to come.
Celeste’s commitment to service and execution has been recognized throughout her career. She has earned two Silver CHBA Tommie Awards and six Best of Houzz – Service Awards, reflecting her dedication to outstanding customer care and consistent project outcomes.
