Victoria Lindelauf brings a rare, hands-on understanding of cabinetry to her role in sales and design at Westwood Cabinetry. Working across the Elements and Essentials series, she blends creative thinking with deep technical knowledge to deliver designs that are both beautiful and realistic.
Victoria began her career in cabinetry in 2005 on the manufacturing floor as a finishing sander, later advancing into the spray booth where she specialized in custom finishes. She joined Westwood in August 2022 as a Quality Control Auditor in the finishing department and moved into sales and design just over a year later. This production-based background gives her a clear, practical understanding of materials, coatings, and finishing processes, allowing her to confidently explain what’s possible, what’s practical, and how design decisions translate into finished cabinetry.
Victoria’s design approach starts with clarity. Budget and timeline come first, providing a strong framework before focusing on layout, form, and function. She believes well-designed spaces should respect both the home’s architecture and the way people live, whether that means entertaining, family meals, or the demands of a busy household.
She’s excited by the return of bold colour in cabinetry. A strong believer in locally made craftsmanship, Victoria values Westwood’s in-house manufacturing capabilities, from locally produced five-piece doors to a highly efficient finishing process that delivers exceptional quality.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys the Okanagan lifestyle, especially the region’s local produce and wines. A devoted tea drinker, her go-to creative fuel is a high-quality, hand-rolled oolong. If she weren’t designing kitchens, she’d likely be working in another creative field such as digital or graphic design.
For homeowners starting a renovation, Victoria’s advice is simple: establish a budget early—so design decisions can focus on maximizing value, performance, and long-term satisfaction.
